Where Hermon families are seen

Hermon borders Bangor to the west, and our Bangor office is roughly a 10- to 15-minute drive for most Hermon families. Students served through a school contract are seen on-site during the school day.

Hermon schools

Hermon students attend schools in the Hermon School Department. Individual therapy is available to any Hermon family regardless of school.

Small-town schools, a small local team

Hermon is a close-knit district, and it suits the way we work: a small team of three licensed SLPs, the same faces all year, and clinicians who live nearby. When a school team needs an evaluation or a hand with an IEP, we are in the building, not on a call.

Speech therapy in Hermon: common questions

Do you come to Hermon, or do we come to you?

Both are possible. Through a school contract, therapy happens on-site at school. For individual therapy, families come to our Bangor office, about a 10- to 15-minute drive from Hermon.

Can you do a speech-language evaluation for a Hermon student?

Yes. We provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations with a plain-language written report, whether the student is privately referred by a family or the evaluation is requested by a school team.

Do you offer teletherapy for families outside Bangor?

No. All of our services are in person — at school or at our Bangor office. Speech work depends on close, hands-on cues, and our service area is small on purpose so we can be there.
