For individual therapy, Little City Speech does not accept insurance of any kind. We accept the following:
CDS
Child Development Services — the Maine Department of Education program that provides early intervention (birth to age 2) and free public special-education services (ages 3–5). When services are provided through a child’s IFSP or IEP with CDS, families pay nothing.
MaineCare
Maine’s Medicaid program, providing free or low-cost health coverage to eligible Mainers. We accept MaineCare for individual speech-language therapy.
Private Pay
Straightforward self-pay rates for families who prefer to pay directly. Contact us for current rates and availability.
Receiving services through your school? School-based services are covered entirely by the contract between the school and Little City Speech — parents never pay anything. Learn how school partnerships work.

What Families Say
Our son struggled with reading for two years before Little City. The one-on-one, in-person work made all the difference — he reads to his little sister now.
Jessica B.
Parent, Bangor
They coordinated everything with our school and we never saw a bill. Our daughter went from dreading reading group to raising her hand. We are so grateful.
